Housemouse Birthday

A card made with one of my favourite images, Housemouse by Joanna Sheen.  This colour combination is fabulous.  All zesty limes and lemons.  Papers from first edition, gorgeous quality.  Computer generated wording and finished off with lovely sheer bow and diamante pin.

Vintage style Wedding Card

C
Card made for a commission recently, mainly die cuts with a computer generated name tab. Colours don't show up true on pc, much nicer in real life.

Long time no see........

Life has been just too busy to post but have still been visiting blogs and crafting.  How the time flies, far too quickly at the minute.

I have had many card commissions and here are just a couple to show.  The first one using my cricut for the lovely wedding cake and the second using a crafters companion image all in the lovely pale lilac and white.

Esmee Susan

Introducing my newest granddaughter, a little girl, Esmee Susan, born on Wednesday 27th February. A little girl for my youngest daughter, Stephanie, and a sister for Warren and Frankie.

Isn't she adorable.  Such a dream baby.

Butterfly Blue for Mum

This lovely card was made in Craft Artist 2, using a lovely butterfly digikit.  The card looks lilac in picture, but is a loverly butterfly blue.

I layered up the butterfly and painted with clear nail varnish which I find gives a lovely shiny finish, same with the flowers.

A gorgeous sheer bow with a butterfly charm and some glamour dust finish off lovely.  Inside complements the front.

Daisy 3rd birthday Barnyard

A commissioned card for a little girl I've been making cards for since her birth.

I used a free cd from a magazine - lovely graphics on this.  Layered up selected elements to add dimension, added stickles, glitter glue and heat embossed parts.  Punched butterflies and cerise bow finishes off this very girly card.

Tatty Teddy Its a Girl

One of several New Baby cards I have been making recently...... this one uses the adorable Tatty Teddy from the Docrafts cd rom.

I've layered up three of the bp's, glittered and glamour dusted elements on the image, added some clear dewdrops, stick on pink pearls, a lovely diamante pin, ribbon and a tiny fabric butterfly.

Picture to the right shows a close up of the lovely sheer ribbon and the little "its a girl" tag.
These cards look gorgeous in real life but the pics do not show them to their best.
A lovely 8 x 8 card I made for my grandson's 5th birthday in a couple of weeks.  This was using graphics from my free cd rom with Complete Cardmaking with your PC.  There are some really lovely designs on this cd to work with.

I have layered up the bp's, added clouds, number 5, the fabulous cow who I've called Daisy, fence and grass - heat embossed to give lovely finish.

Added some glitter glue and some gold outliner for the text to add texture.  I'm very pleased with this card.

Tatty Teddy and Country Companions Pair

Gorgeous turquoise blue tatty teddy card, layered up in co-ordinating patterened paper.  I've added a turquoise bow, some stick on gems and glamour dust.  Computer generated sentiment and lovely end result.
Same card layout as above but using country companions graphic, layered up, glamour dusted, gems and ribbon bow.  This is on a lovely lilac base card.

Two Tall Cards

Two tall cards I made up recently. . . the lilac one used a cuttlebug embossing folder, I run through twice and cut out some of the hearts, embossed with copper embossing powder and added using 3d foam pads.  Used Spellbinders die for the topper and added a lovely matching lilac bow.

The pink one was layered up and butterflies cut with Tonic punch, frilly ribbon in pink and cream narrow ribbon bow.

No sentiment has been added so can be used for any occasion.  I quite like how these turned out.

Knitting Mice

A lovely very dimensional card made from Joanna Sheen Project Book. . .

Card is an 8 x 8 blank, matted and layered with contrasting colours to the image, which has been decoupaged (doesn't show too well in pic).

I've used tiny pearlised buttons tied with bakers twine, handmade myself some tiny knitting needles - using half a cocktail and tiny bead for each needle, wrapped bakers twine into a tiny ball and pushed knitting needles through, very pleased with how these turned out.

New Home Tree House

A new home card I was asked to make. . . using graphics from Polkadoodles Studio 12 cd rom.  Used some lovely blue ribbon, sparkly diamante brads, glamour dust and clear embossing powder (to highlight selected bits).

Small pink and white flowers added to several places on tree branch for dimension.  Inside is finished to complement front.

Vintage Wedding Card

Commissioned card for a wedding.  I've used Serif to create this muted very vintage card.

The sentiments have been heat embossed and layered for dimension, the butterfly has been heat embossed on the outline with a lovely copper embossing powder.  A lovely sheer blue ribbon to finish off.

Blue Bear On Shelf

My latest make for one of the new babies due in our family over the next couple of months.

Using Bear on Shelf graphic from The Clipart Fairy. . . layered up to give dimension, handmade flowers using Tonic Petal Pairs, triple bow and stickles and glamour dust to finish off.

A little pic of a new venture . . . sweet trees.  These two have been made using a polystyrene sphere, to which I used white icing to stick the love hearts/mallows onto.  Lollypop stick, small white craft bucket, circle of card over florists oasis. . . finished off with a cello bag from Lakeland and a little bow.

Nice idea for Valentines Day, also for table decorations for birthdays/christening/wedding.  Colour co-ordinate for maximum effect.
